Basic Red Gravy

I started to make this gravy especially for my son as he doesn't like to chop the onions . So whenever I am out of the town and he is cooking, he add chopped vegetables, masalas and 1 tblspn of this gravy. You can store it for 15 days in the fridge and more than six months if stored in deep fridge.

Steps
- 1
Take a pan. Add oil. Once oil is hot, add garlic and onion. This is very basic gravy, that's why I didn't add ginger. Let it cook garlic and onion on low flame. Once garlic and onion is cooked, add tomato and salt. Cook without adding any water.
- 2
Add red chilli powder and turmeric. Continue to cook. Once tomatoes' water evaporated, switch off the flame. Let it cool. Make a fine paste.
- 3
Keep it in airtight container.
