When the family members fond of seafood. Usually, I add squid, but I don't have it now, so I skipped the squid. Nasgor or Nasi Goreng is Indonesian 🇮🇩 fried rice, is another our favorite hometown food.

Nasi goreng is often described as an Indonesian rice dish cooked with pieces of meat and vegetables, although it is also endemic in Malay-speaking communities of Southeast Asian countries, such as Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei. It has gained popularity in Sri Lanka through historical migrations from the Malay Archipelago, in countries like Suriname via Indonesian immigrant communities, and in the Netherlands through its colonial ties with Indonesia. Nasi goreng is distinguished from other Asian fried rice preparations by its distinct smoky aroma, and caramelised yet savoury undertones of flavour. There is no single defined recipe for nasi goreng, and its composition and preparation varies greatly from household to household in all regions where the dish is endemic to.

Ingredients

  1. 200 grpeeled shrimp
  2. 1tuna can
  3. 1.5 cupsrice (cook it using rice cooker)
  4. 3-5chili peppers (if you don't like spicy put less the chili)
  5. 1onion
  6. 6 clovesgarlic
  7. 75 grgreen beans (chop it)
  8. 1bell pepper (dice it)
  9. 3 tbsptomato sauce
  10. 2 tbspsweet soy sauce
  11. 2 tbspsriracha or hot chili pepper
  12. 1.5 tspsalt (to taste)
  13. 4 tbspveg oil (for sauteed)

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat the veg oil in the wok or saucepan, saute the minced onion, garlic, and chili. Add the shrimp cook till the shrimp is ready./Panaskan minyak sayur dalam wajan atau panci, tumis bawang cincang, bawang putih, dan cabai. Tambahkan udang masak sampai udang matang.

    Add the tomato sauce, sriracha, sweet soy sauce, salt, bell pepper, and green beans continue to saute till the chopped green beans and bell pepper wilted. Add the tuna mix it evenly./Tambahkan saus tomat, sriracha, kecap manis, garam, paprika, dan kacang buncis potong terus tumis hingga kacang hijau dan paprika layu. Tambahkan tuna aduk rata.

    Add the cooked rice and mix it till all the rice is evenly mixed with the fried rice spices. Lower the heat continue to mix the fried rice for 5 minutes./Tambahkan nasi dan aduk hingga semua nasi tercampur rata dengan bumbu nasi goreng. Kecilkan api terus aduk nasi goreng selama 5 menit.

    Nasi goreng Udun or Tuna Shrimp fried rice is ready to serve added with fried egg, cucumber, or lettuce to add the deliciousness./Nasi goreng udun siap dihidangkan ditambah dengan telur goreng, ketimun, atau selada untuk menambah kelezatannya. Happy Trying! Selamat Mencoba!
