1 bunch (150 g)Asparagus
Salt for cooking
Creamy ‘Goma-ae’ Sauce
1 tablespoonToasted Sesame Seeds *ground
1/4 teaspoonSugar
1 teaspoonsSoy Sauce
1 tablespoonJapanese Mayonnaise

Trim Asparagus, cut into 3cm pieces, and blanch in salted water. Dip them into cold water and drain.

Grind Toasted Sesame Seeds, add Sugar, Soy Sauce and Mayonnaise, and mix to make the sauce. Add the cooked Asparagus and combine well.
