Kadhi Lapsi

Kadhi Lapsi is a unique combination. Kadhi is sour and spicy while Lapsi is a dessert. When both are eaten together it gives a unique flavour. Kadhi is a type of curry prepared using curd and gram flour. Lapsi is a dessert usually prepared in Rajasthan and other states of India on any auspicious occasion or festival! It is prepared by broken wheat and Jaggery!

Steps

For Kadhi - Mix gram flour, curd and water to make very thin batter.

Heat oil in a pan, add spices and saute for a while.
Add batter and mix well. - 3
Bring it to a boil and simmer for at least half and hour on low flame. Kadhi is ready!

For Lapsi - Roast broken wheat for 5 mins on low to medium flame. Add almonds and cashew in it while roasting.

Dissolve jaggery in water and bring it to a boil. Add this jaggery solution to roasted broken wheat, mix well and bring it to boil.

Cook on low to medium flame until cooked completely. Now add raisins and grated coconut, cover it and keep aside for 15 mins.

Garnish Lapsi with chopped dry fruits. Serve Both Kadhi and Lapsi hot!
