Easter Eggs Nests

This one’s usually done with the Marzipans but just in order to waive the entire tedious process of preparing the Marzipan, I’ve kinda eased it by substituting with the Cadbury’s Gems
However, according to my belief: It actually turned out to be absolutely the decadent ones, even better than the original Marzipans

A must try for sure

Steps

3-4 (prep to dish)
  1. 1

First up: Melt the Dark Chocolates by shredding/cutting them into smaller pieces- By microwaving the same twice for 30 secs. at 2 intervals while stirring it well after the one- Set aside

  2. 2

Now, if the Vermicelli is already pre-roasted then, half the work’s done. However, I still for about a minute again double roasted the same for a even darker shade to attain by pouring in just a tsp of oil/ghee until that’s evenly coated all along

  3. 3

Turned of the flame & allowed it to sit on thethe hot oven still for another 2-3 mins time before shaping them into our desired Bird’s Nests with eggs

  4. 4

Add in the gems in one small bowl- Pre-greased one baking tray/pan with some more oil/alternatively, you can pre-line it with the butter/parchment paper in order to take out the nests easily, post that’s all set

  6. 6

Once that’s done- Take a big spoonful of the chocolate coated vermicelli & place it on the baking tray- As can be seen in the pics above, just like shaping it as the Bird’s Nests & while it’s still substantially hot/warm- Add in the Cadbury’s Gems on its top just as in the bird’s eggs

A hardcore Bong- that has a tremendous wanderlust in her blood as well as that much passion for cooking new ideas and recipes & also, camouflaging certain recipes across the globe-Of course, all that maintains its heritage and cultures in its looks and taste both yet caters to the day’s call/requirement to be health conscious but a great foodie that’s innate in her genes and tries to satiate the crowd- Be ANY, with all that 😊💁🏻‍♀️👍🏻
