As for a kid born and lived for 22 years in Kuwait 🇰🇼, shawarmas are essential part of my life and diet altogether. Having some great insights, I thought to share this recipe with my cookpad family as its hard to find an actual Shwarma with authentic taste in Pakistan. Chicken Shawarma

Cooking Instructions

Clean your chicken thighs and marinate the chicken with all spices and ingredients in marination section above. Store it in a cool dry place for at least 2 hours

Take 1 big onion and cut it the ends of it (up and down). And stick 3 skewers into it. Place that onion in a ramekin

Stack the marinated chicken thighs on to the skewers.

Bake it in preheated oven at 200c for almost 2 hours. If you are using chicken breast reduce the time accordingly!

Place the ramekin on a tray and start trimming your chicken

Now throw the salad ingredients in your chicken and using your knife chop the mixture lightly as so that the chicken pieces are bite sized.

Get a tortilla wrap, I made these at home, you can use store bought. Let me know in comments if you want a recipe for these wraps

Now paste some garlic sauce on your wrap, and fill it with the mixture. Place a cucumber and apply some tahini sauce on top. Wrap it and grill it until golden brown
