Add the Water, Turmeric, to a stainless steel pot and cook for 7 to 10 minutes on medium heat or until it forms a thick paste.

Add the freshly ground pepper and oil at the end of cooking, when tumedic and water mixture has cooled down to just warm. Stir well to incorporate the oil and allow to cool.

Transfer the Golden Paste into a glass jar with a lid, and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.

You will use this paste to make Golden Milk or add to yogurt.
