Interestingly I learnt to make Pakoras from my dear mamma but shaadi se pehle jab bhi mein pakorey banati thee mamma used to say ke mere haath ke pakorey ziada ache banter hain. Both my parents used to like mere haath ke pakorey so much,it always used to motivate me to do better and luckily everyone in my susraal like my Pakoras too now.

Ingredients

20-25mins
4-6 servings
  1. 3/4 cupbesan
  2. 1/2 tspsalt
  3. 1/2 tspred chilli powder
  4. Pinchwhite cumin
  5. Water to make batter
  6. 2potatoes sliced
  7. Oil for deep frying

Steps

20-25mins
  1. 1

    Peel potatoes and cut into thin slices.

  2. 2

    In a bowl put all the dry ingredients and mix.

    Now gradually add water and mix to make the batter. It should neither be thick nor runny.

    In a wok put oil and heat it. Dip potato slices in besan batter then put in oil for frying.

    Cook on medium low flame and deep fry until crispy and golden.
