This is my mom's recipe. I don't like to eat anyone else's made paratha except hers. The secret tip to make it khasta is to use ghee in solid form not in liquid form.

This is my mom's recipe. I don't like to eat anyone else's made paratha except hers. The secret tip to make it khasta is to use ghee in solid form not in liquid form.

Steps

Roll the dough on a floured surface.

Brush the entire top surface lightly with some ghee, then cut a radius of circle with the help of knife.

Now roll the dough from that sliced portion and make a cone.

Press the cone, it will again become pairah.

Now dust a little bit flour(atta) on a plain surface. Roll the dough and flatten it into a circle.

Heat a griddle until it's piping hot. Put 1tbsp ghee on it and lower the heat to medium-high, place a paratha on the griddle, and wait until bubbles appear.

Flip over the paratha and lightly brush some ghee on the surface.

When the underside is cooked and golden-brown spots appear, flip over once more and cook for a few more seconds or until golden spots appear.

Serve right away with any salan,omelette etc
