Steps

Clean the lentil and wash then soak for 3- 4 hour.
Cover and cook on low flame until lentil is tender and water is dried and let it cool. - 2
Grind boiled lentil in a chopper. Grind it to a fine powder.
Heat ghee in a wok and add green cardamoms seeds.Once you feel the aroma of cardamom, add ground lentil and cook it till it properly cooked and turns in
light golden. - 3
Now add sugar powder (Grounded) along with liquid milk, stir well until sugar dissolves.
Add dry milk powder and keep stirring with spoon otherwise it will burn from the bottom.
While roasting, add almonds and pistachio. - 4
Once lentil is roasted well and tends to leave the bottom of the pan, and also you see an oil layer starts
appearing, solidify it in a tray or platter (Remember to apply ghee on tray/platter). - 5
Now spread it on the greased tray and smoothen with Spatula.
Sprinkle chopped pistachio,almonds throughout the halwa pan. Make cuts with knife and let it cool.Delicious chana daal halwa is ready to serve.
