In a heavy bottom vessel add ghee heat it,add pumpkin,cover and cook it on a low flame.Remove the lid,add in sugar, cook till the sugar gets dried and then add flavours.

Add mawa and cook till it leaves its side, now transfer it on a greased thali and set it for sometime. Garnish it with chopped rose petals and pista.

Notes
This burfi is very soft and melt in the mouth. For it to set in better, after it is cooled put it in the fridge for some time and then cut it. Believe me everyone in the family would love this. Do give it a try.
You can add or reduce sugar according to taste.
