Firstly, soak the almonds in warm water for 30 minutes. Remove the skin and grind to a fine paste.

Now transfer the milk to a pan and put it on medium-high heat.

Once the milk in a pan boil, add the prepared almond paste, cardamom powder, a pinch of tumeric powder, brown sugar and stir to combine.

Lower the milk to low medium and stir often so that the milk doesn't get stuck at the bottom of the pan.

Boil the milk until it becomes thick and then turn off the heat.

Serve badam milk hot or cold.
