Ingredients

prep : 10 mins
2 persons
  1. 300 gboiled chickpeas
  2. 1chopped cucumber
  3. 1chopped onion
  4. 1chopped tomato
  5. Juice of 1/2 lemon
  6. Handfulfinely chopped coriander leaves
  7. leavesMint
  8. Salt as per your taste
  9. 1/4th tsp red chilli powder
  10. 1/4th tsp roasted cumin and dry red chillies powder
  11. 3/4th tsp chaat masala
  12. 2finely chopped fresh green chillies

Steps

prep : 10 mins
  1. 1

    Soak chickpeas overnight.
    Next day wash it nicely.
    Pressure cook it with salt for 4 whistles. Keep aside and let it cool.

    Next take cucumber, tomato, onion, coriander leaves, mint leaves, chillies and lemon, wash everything very nicely.
    Chop the ones which requires chopping.
    Keep it arranged.

    Next take a tawa and dry roast 1 tsp cumin seeds and 2 dry red chillies.
    As it cools a bit grind into a powder.

  4. 4

    Next take a mixing bowl.Put boiled chickpeas, cucumber pieces, chopped onion, chopped tomato.

  5. 5

    Squeeze juice of half lemon.
    Add salt (add carefully as chickpeas too have salt), red chilli powder, fresh green chillies, chopped coriander leaves.
    Tear the mint leaves and add.

    Next add powder of cumin and dry red chillies. Add chaat masala.

    Now mix all very well.
    Next???
    Check the seasonings.Adjust it as you like..

    Chickpeas has souces of zinc which is an immunity booster so also it aids metabolism.

    Lemon used has vitamin c which is also an immunity booster.
