Steps
- 1
Combine the ■ ingredients together, and make the teaspoon of water ready too. Put the sugar in a corner of a frying pan, and turn on the heat.
- 2
The sugar will start melting in about a minute. When it has melted, add the teaspoon of water. (This is basically caramel sauce.)
- 3
Quickly add the ■ ingredients, mix and it's done. ♪
- 4
Extra... a great way to drain the oil off tempura!!
- 5
When a piece of tempura is done, lift it out and hold it still with about 1 cm of it still in the oil for 10 seconds. The oil is drawn back to the pan and drains straight off!
- 6
There's almost no oil on the paper.
