Steps

Cut onions about 1/2 an inch in circles. Remove to form single rings.

In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, spices and salt. Gradually add water and mix until the batter thickens.

Dip the onion rings in the batter then coat with breadcrumbs. Set aside on a rack.

Fry until golden brown on both sides. Don't overcrowd them.

Enjoy your crispy onion rings
