Vegetable Masala Khichdi

First take a bowl and soak the dal and rice for 10 minutes

Cut all the vegetables

Take a pressure cooker and heat it up and add oil and ghee

Once heated add cumin mustard seeds and 1/2 tsp hing

Once crackling add bay leaf and whole red chilli and cinnamon stick and clove

After add curry leaves and onions sauté for few seconds

Add 1 tsp chilli ginger garlic paste and sauté for few seconds

Now add all the vegetables and tomatoes sauté for few seconds

Now add all the dry masala and mix well

Next add 4 and 1/2 cup water and boil for few second

After water is boiling add the soaked daal and rice and mix well

Now close the cooker and in low medium flame cook for 4-5 whistles.

Your healthy masala khichdi is ready serve with yogurt or kadhi.
