Steps
- 1
Turn on crock pot on low
- 2
Add into crock pot tomato sauce, chili powder, salt and pepper and cumin. Stir together. At this time you can add more spices if you like.
- 3
In a frying pan add oil heat between medium and medium high.
- 4
Add chopped garlic, stir so it doesn't burn. Add flour covered chops into pan and cook till a light brown on both side. Chops will not be done.
- 5
Turn off stove. Right away put everything from frying pan into the Crock pot. Make sure you get all the garlic.
- 6
Mix the sauce on the chops so all of the chops are covered with sauce. Cover crock pot and let cook 3 or 4 hours. Check at 3 hours to see if fully cooked and tender.
- 7
A great side dish is Spanish Rice or White Rice adding the sauce from crock pot on top of it. And of course flour tortillas.
- 8
Depending on how many you are feeding you will have to use 2 cans of tomato sauce decide what size of pkg of chops, etc.
