Ingredients

8 servings
  • 1 packagefrozen home style rolls 24 counts
  • 1 cpacked brown sugar
  • 4 tspcinnamon
  • 1 packagebutterscotch pudding (Not instant)
  • 1/2 cmelted butter
  • Optional 1 cup pecans, walnuts or raisins
  • 1 TblCrisco shortening

Steps

  1. 1

    Coat large tube pan with crisco.

  2. 2

    Mix together the brown sugar, cinnamon and the butterscotch pudding mix and set aside.

  3. 3

    Optional - sprinkle 1/2 the nuts or raisins or both on bottom of the pan.

  4. 4

    Arrange the frozen rolls evenly in pan.

  5. 5

    Pour the melted butter over the rolls

  6. 6

    Sprinkle the sugar mixture from step 2 over the rolls

  7. 7

    Cover pan with plastic wrap and leave on the counter overnight. In the morning the rolls will have doubled

  8. 8

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees

  9. 9

    Place tube pan on cookie sheet to prevent any spills

  10. 10

    Bake for 40 min

  11. 11

    Take out of the oven and immediately invert on large plate or cookie tray.

  12. 12

    Use spatula to scrape out the leftover sauce and put it on the buns while still hot.
