Easy ☆ Bread Crust Rusks ☆

I came up with a way of making rusks that is as easy as making French toast.
The rusks will be crispier if you slice the crusts thinly and finely. Recipe by Hiibousuke

Steps
- 1
Prepare the bread crusts. I used the crusts leftover from when I made ham rolls for my kids, so the thickness was a third of a 6 slice loaf slice.
- 2
Measure 15 g of margarine in a heatproof bowl. An approximate amount is fine.
- 3
Add 5 g of sugar. This might not seem like much, but you will coat the rusks with granulated sugar later, so I think it's just the right amount. But you can add as much as you like.
- 4
Microwave the butter for 20 seconds so it melts. Put all the crusts in the melted butter.
- 5
Stir the sunken sugar a little, and coat the crusts evenly in the butter. Spread out on a baking tray.
- 6
Sprinkle granulated sugar.
- 7
Bake in the oven at 150°C (no need to preheat) for 20 minutes, and they're done.
