Red Lentil Patties

It’s a really delicious vegan recipe. We usually make this for lunches, a savory treat for 5 o’clock teas…etc. Try this and you won’t regret it!
Cooking Instructions

Put cold water and red lentils and boil them until they’re mushy.
If there’s excess water, drain it.

Add fine bulghur, hot water, oil and red pepper paste. Mix them up well and let it sit for 30 minutes or the mixture cools down completely and gets a firm texture.
If you think that this won’t get firm enough to make patties add a little bit more bulghur or add the hot water slowly.

Take the mixture in a big bowl and add spices, grated onion, lemon juice, pomegranate sauce.
Mix it up well.

Add herbs; green onion and parsley. And mix it up gently.
You can add more herbs or fresh spices like dill, cilantro, mint, etc.

Make small patties to serve.
You can serve with lemon wedges and lettuce leaves.
