Red bean patties

I wanted to make falafels but didn't have chickpeas. Instead I came up with these, which turned out really good and perfect for the tortillas I had made.

Shrimp Patties Shrimp Patties
I've always been concerned about packing breaded deep fried shrimp in bentos, since they lose their crispiness and are quite caloric. So, I chopped up some shrimp to make these simple shrimp burger patties.PS: If you make these without the egg binder, it will be easier to form the patties if you mince the onion.Use leftover bread or crusts. I used some leftover baguette this time.I've kept it simple to pack these in bentos, but add plenty of garlic if serving these for dinner! The burgers are also delicious sandwiched between bread. For 4 small burgers. Recipe by putimiko cookpad.japan -

So many different recipes for this here is one I want to share with yall. It's simple to make using leftover blackeyed peas that's been cooked with ham. Some use peppers, bacon, corn, Lima beans and so on. Some use cornbread mix instead of flour. Some use eggs or applesauce to help bind the patties. Large Pan-Fried Edamame Patties Large Pan-Fried Edamame Patties
I wanted to try to make something fashionable using edamame. This is a simple dish but it takes some time to remove the thin skins around the beans and to mash them, so this is aimed for those who have the time.Step 1) You can probably use a food processor. You can use whatever method you want to crush them. Even use a knife to smash the beans.Step 4) Enjoy with sauce.1 serving is probably about 200 g. Recipe by Kogekogepan cookpad.japan -

Squash patties Squash patties
I love squash. All squash. I make these patties out of yellow summer squash or zucchini or a mix of both. They’re almost like eating a hash brown. The longer you let the shredded squash drain, the more bite to the patty. These are a great vehicle for anything you want to put on top or straight out of the skillet. My daughters and I make ourselves sick eating these 😂#mycookbook SherryRandall: The Leftover Chronicles -

Sweet & Salty Lotus Root Cheese Patties Sweet & Salty Lotus Root Cheese Patties
Regular lotus root patties are common, but I started thinking that they would taste good with cheese, so I made these. At first, I grated the lotus root by hand, but that was so much work that I started using a food processor, and they came out so well. When you add them to the frying pan, they may fall apart easily, so be careful. When the bottom has become crispy, flip it over. If you don't have a food processor, you can grate them by hand, using a grater. Recipe by Raby cookpad.japan
