Dry Prawns Masala

#cookpadindia
This particular dish made from Dry Prawns is from Hyderabad City made in my maternal home. Potatoes are also added in this just to make it more attractive and appealing to the children. With just a few simple pantry staples, it's a perfect idea for Lunch. Actually, I always prefer fresh ones for my children but sometimes it's okay to do some of these traditional and grandma-style dishes which are a hit even today. The quality of these dry Prawns back then was absolutely amazing. I remember, we as kids used to relish these crispy Prawns Masala made by mom as well as grandma. One of our Uncle who was a TC in South Central Railways used to travel to different places as part of his duty and would get this for all the relatives. Freshly and neatly packed Dry Prawns that would just have a great aroma and flavour. Nowadays it's available in the oldest market in the City called Mir Alam Mandi. It has everything right from the Vegetables to the groceries all under one roof.
