Ingredients

  1. 1 cupPoha
  2. 1/2 cupWalnut coarsely grounded
  3. 1/4 cupfinely chopped carrot
  4. 1/4 cupfinely chopped beetroot
  5. 1/4 cupfinely chopped capsicum
  6. 1medium sized onion finely chopped
  7. 1 tbspgreen chilli finely chopped
  8. as per tasteSalt
  9. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  10. 1 tspred chilli powder
  11. 1 tbspkitchen king masala
  12. 1 tspgaram masala powder
  13. 1/4 cupfinely chopped coriander leaves
  14. as neededOil for frying
  15. For coating
  16. 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  17. 1/4 cupwalnut
  18. For slurry
  19. 1/4 cupall-purpose flour
  20. as requiredWater

Steps

    Take a bowl and add Poha in it. After that wash is nicely and soaked it in half cup of water for half an hour.

    After half water place the Poha in another bowl and add all the ingredients one by one in it.

    Mix it well. After mixing it take a small portion from the dough and give it a round shape. After that press in between in your palm and make a tikki. And keep aside. It's shape totally depends on you.

    For coating take walnut in a small jar and make coarse powder of it. Now in a plate add bread crumbs and coarse walnut powder and mix it well.

    Now we gonna make a slurry. For this we add all-purpose flour and water in a bowl and mix it well. Now we are ready to frying Cutlets. Heat the oil in a deep frying pan. Now take a Cutlet and dip it into the slurry and coated with bread crumbs. Prepare all the cutlets in this way. Now drop the all cutlets into the oil one by one. Frying it on medium flame till golden brown.

    Your Walnut Poha Cutlet is ready. Serve it hot with tomato sauce or green chutney.
