Maize-Semolina Swallow with Busasshen Kubewa

Boil water, add a tbsp oil. Mix maize flour with water to make a smooth paste/batter and pour into the boiling water, stir.

Cover and allow it to cook for 40mins (max. 1hr). Then gradually add the semolina while mixing it until it becomes soft /solid.

Pour little amount of water on top, cover and allow to steam on low heat for some minutes. Mix again. Make shape of your choice, serve with any soup of your choice.

Serve mine with dry okro soup.
