Easy Microwaved Caramel Custard in 15 Minutes

I had a craving for custard but it was too much trouble to go out and buy one...
The heating time will vary depending on your microwave, so keep an eye on it and adjust accordingly.
If you add a little hot water (not listed) to the caramel after microwaving, it will prevent it from becoming hard. (It will sizzle when you add the hot water, so be careful.) Recipe by Punnosuke

[For the caramel] Put the ingredients marked ★ in a heatproof bowl and microwave at 600 W for 1 and 1/2 minutes. Mix and let it cool.

[For the pudding] Mix the ingredients marked ☆ well and then strain. Don't let it get frothy!

Pour the pudding mixture into the bowl containing the caramel. Loosely wrap, and microwave at 600 W for 2 minutes.

Remove it from the microwave and pierce with a toothpick. If the toothpick comes out clean, it's done. (It's fine if it's a little runny.)

Leave the plastic wrap on, and wrap it with a towel. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes.

Let it chill in the fridge to finish.
