Ingredients

  • 1 tbspYeast
  • 1 cupWarm water
  • 1 cupWarm Milk
  • 3 tspSugar
  • 3 tbsp+3 tspOlive oil
  • 1Egg separated
  • 1/4 tspSalt
  • 4-5 cupsFlour
  • Filling
  • 5 tbspCream cheese
  • 2 tbspZatar spice
  • 4 tbspRoasted Walnut powder
  • as requiredOlives green few slices
  • as neededCranberries few

Steps

    In a big bowl add the yeast sugar the warm water and the warm milk and whisk it thoroughly

  2. 2

    Add the salt and the olive oil 3 tbsp only and whisk again

  3. 3

    Now gradually add cup flour at a time and keep whisking

  4. 4

    Add 4 to almost 5 cups till you have a nice soft dough

  5. 5

    Don't use the entire 5th cup of flour...use as much as its needed

  6. 6

    Add the remaining 3 tsp olive oil and all over the dough. Cover and let it rise till it doubles

  7. 7

    Once our dough is doubled in size,divide it into two

  8. 8

    Take one divided roll and flatten it.
    Don't flatten it too thin.The thickness should be 1 to 1.5 inches

  9. 9

    Mix the cream cheese,the zatar and the Walnuts.Spread thus over our dough just in the center leaving an edge ont he sides

  10. 10

    Now sprinkle the olives and the Cranberries

  11. 11

    Preheat the oven at 200⁰ c and bake the pode for 20 mins each

    This pide can be eaten as it is but if you want you can have with with some Hummus and Babaganoush

    The flavour of Walnuts enhances more once baked.You can even add crushed Walnuts if you like
