Ingredients

  1. 3 CupsFresh or Frozen Blackberrys
  2. 1 CupGranulated Sugar
  3. 1 TablespoonLemon Juice
  4. 1 TeaspoonVanilla Extract
  5. 1/2 TeaspoonGround Cinnamon
  6. 1 CupAll-purpose Flour
  7. 2 TeaspoonsBaking Powder
  8. 1/2 TeaspoonSalt
  9. 1 CupWhole Milk
  10. 1/2 CupMelted Butter

Cooking Instructions

    Mix the first 5 ingredients together and stir well. Let sit about 30 minutes so the berry's can breakdown somewhat, and form a syrup.

    Lightly grease bottom and sides of an 9" deep sided pan.

    Combine the flour and rest of the ingredients. Stir until just moistened!Dont over mix. Should be somewhat runny.Pour flour mixture into a lightly greased baking dish. Then spoon the berry mixture evenly across the flour mixture.

    Bake at 375 degrees for 45 - 50 minutes or so, until bubbly and edges are golden brown. Let cool somewhat. Enjoy. Goes very well, with a nice scoop of ice cream.

Hi. Well, depending on appetites, I'd say at least 6. Considering that it is served as a dessert.
