I bought some shiso eggplant tsukemono when I went to Kyoto. I opened the package, but this is not the sort of food that can be used all at once, so I thought up a way to eat it.

2 servings
  1. 1enough for 2 rice balls Plain cooked rice
  2. 1heaping tablespoon minced Eggplant and shiso tsukemono
  3. 1heaping tablespoon Tempura crumbs
  4. 1one teaspoon Sesame seeds
  5. 1 dashSalt
  6. 2sheets Nori seaweed

Steps

  1. 1

    Mince the shiso eggplant tsukemono. Pack it into riceballs and mix thoroughly.

  2. 2

    Mold it to your preference, and wrap it with seaweed. It might make a great late-night snack for your tired husband.
