Christmas Wreath Stew Christmas Wreath Stew
I thought of a Christmasy recipe. This recipe was picked as a Christmas themed recipe on: "Recipe Blog," "Otoriyose Net," and "asajikan.jp"I used frozen broccoli and corn. Make sure to tightly pack the rice around the outsides of the center hole so that a lot of stew can be poured into the center. Leftover stew can be used for refills or you can melt cheese on top and turn it into gratin. For 1 large plate. Recipe by nathu cookpad.japan -
BEEF STEW - OLD RECIPE BEEF STEW - OLD RECIPE
I made this for my parents for dinner 40 plus years ago. They both wanted to know what I used for thickening. It turns out it was the way I cut the potatoes and floured the beef before I browned it. My Dad loved my stew! Needless to say, I've been making stew the same way ever since and never without thinking about my Dad. . . "Good times around the family table". sandra53 -

Leftovers leftovers leftovers. I made smothered chicken last night. My recipe is on Cookpad. I used all my rice last night but I did have half a bag of egg noodles. Dug in the freezers and found frozen partial bags of peas and corn lol par for the course with me. Since not everyone will have the leftover smothered chicken I’ll write this the way I would do it the easy way. SherryRandall: The Leftover Chronicles -
Easy! Potato and Bacon Stew Easy! Potato and Bacon Stew
This is an easy stewed dish that my busy mother used to make. It's now a staple in my household. My mother's version only had bacon and potatoes in it but I've added vegetables to make it tastier.Beware of burning, since all you have to do is leave it on the stove.Using 'Wagaya no Banou Tsuyu' or any Japanese noodle dipping sauce should be fine. Adding 1 tablespoon of this to the pot will make it more delicious. Recipe by Fujihime mama cookpad.japan -

Cream Stew without Roux Cream Stew without Roux
My family doesn't like how the roux in cream stew leaves an oily feeling on your tongue, so we always make stew without roux. I make this stew with lots of leftover vegetables, and I put all kinds of vegetables in it.This time, I added broccoli stems, but you could also add cabbage cores or soy beans. The kabocha squash will dissolve a little and color the soup yellow. For adults, add black pepper to make it spicy and delicious. Recipe by Nikonikopu-san cookpad.japan -

Instant Pot Beef Stew Instant Pot Beef Stew
Mina loves beef stew in the winter because it makes her think of her native chorba. I love Mina all the time because she is the love of my life. This is the simplest version of an instant pot beef stew I could come up with. Honestly the hominy is the only “interesting” part. But this dish isn’t trying to be interesting. It is trying to be warm, filling, and easy to cook.¡Buen Provecho!SK Scott Kane -
Robin's Easy Beef Stew Robin's Easy Beef Stew
I love beef stew but never made it. Got some tips from my mum and just went for it. It turned out really good even though I got to talking and cooked the beef a little too long. Was done and eating it within an hour of starting to cook it. Looking forward to trying it again with addition vegetables. Robin
