This recipe was rather hard to rustle up, as Malaysian cuisine are more on the 'agak-agak' side, that is, no measurements. We just throw in whatever ingredients we feel would go with the dish in whatever amounts that we feel is right. This recipe is just a guide, so if you want a true Malaysian style coca cola wings, just follow your heart.

The use of coca cola makes the chicken soft! There’s only 2 ingredients in the finished sauce, but it ends up so flavorful and delicious.

It looks a bit like teriyaki chicken but the sauce tastes sweeter. Good for an easy night of light cooking.

I took the pic when I was still cooking. The result should be browner with less liquid. You can always add more coca-cola if you like for more caramelized taste.I've been making this for ages. It was in the rage in the 1990s, I think. It's simple and quick. This is my (lazy) version of it. Sometimes I add tomatoes as well.
