This dish is a years old dish made in my house ... which my mother used to make in my childhood .. I learned to make it from her and today I also learned the same dish from my mother and today I have made this spicy kansar. Which is the best option for a small evening appetite. This recipe is also healthy and a fast becoming dish.
This is a traditional Gujarati dish. People make it with many different names from the names of spicy lapsi, spicy kansar, spicy halva, spicy flour, sour flour, vagharelo flour or chhasio flour. This looks very tasty and this recipe is ready in a few minutes from the ingredients that can be found at home .... and at the same time everyone in the house will love it.

Steps
- 1
First add coarsely wheat flour in a bowl, add peanut oil to the bowl and mix well. Put this flour on the side. (Making this spicy kansar in peanut oil makes it taste very good)
- 2
Now heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and cumin seeds, add finely chopped green chillies, chopped garlic and saute for 1 minute. Then add turmeric powder and asafoetida and saute on low flame.
- 3
Now add water, sour buttermilk, red chilly powder and salt to it and mix it. When the water heats up and boils over a medium gas flame, slow down the flame.
- 4
Now slowly add the flour with the oil moin and mix the flour with the rolling pin. Cover with a lid and cook on low flame for 5 minutes to make sure that no lumps form in the flour.
- 5
Now add chopped coriander leaves and mix. Put a heavy bottom pan under the pan, again cover and let the flour cook on low heat for 2 to 3 minutes.
- 6
Now our very sour and spicy kansar is ready to serve. Garnish this kansar with coriander leaves and serve hot.
