I wanted to eat homemade quiche, so I made it with the ingredients I had in the refrigerator.

Adjust baking time and temperature if needed.
It's great cold too. It's perfect to pack in a lunch box. Recipe by kao555. (I used an 18 cm tart pan)

Ingredients

6 servings
  1. 2sheets Frozen puff pastry
  2. 100 mlMilk
  3. 2Eggs
  4. 4Wiener sausages
  5. 1/4Onion
  6. 1/2 bunchSpinach
  7. 1Potato
  8. 4Cherry tomatoes
  9. 20 gramsPizza cheese
  10. 1Salt and pepper

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Prep: Cut the ingredients for the filling into bite-size pieces. Blanch the spinach and potato (you could use a microwave oven). Bring the frozen pastry to room temperature.

  2. 2

In a bowl, combine eggs, milk, pizza cheese, salt and pepper. When the blanched vegetables have cooled enough, add to the bowl.

  3. 3

Saute the sausages and onions in a pan and cool to room temperature. Add to the bowl (Step 2) and combine well.

  4. 4

Roll out the puff pastry. Line the crusts side by side on a tart pan and press into the bottom and the sides. Poke holes with a fork and pour in the filling mixture and top with cherry tomatoes.

  5. 5

Bake in a 390°F/200℃ oven for about 25 minutes and it's done.

  6. 6

    Enjoy your piping-hot, just-baked quiche!
