Ingredients

  • 3 tbspmustard seeds
  • 8 podsgarlic
  • 4red chillies
  • 1/2 teaspoon jeera
  • PinchHing and half teaspoon of sugar
  • 200 gmsdrumstick
  • 1potato
  • 5 tablespoonsoil
  • 1/2 teaspoon of haldi and half teaspoon of red chilli powder
  • as requiredKadi patta
  • as per tasteSalt

  1. 1

    Cut drumsticks in two pieces, peel and cut potato into slices.

  2. 2

    Grind jeera, mustard seeds, red chillies and garlic to a fine paste.

  3. 3

    Take oil in a kadai add Hing and Kadi patta gradually add drumstick and potato fry for 3 to 4 minutes with small amount of salt after that add mustard paste haldi and red chilli powder add sugar and salt.Add small amount of water, cover the lid cook in low flame still water evaporates. You have to totally dry out the water,goes well with dal chawal.
