Bread Pizza is a quick snack recipe made with bread slices, pizza sauce, veggies, and cheese. It is a quick hack to satisfy pizza cravings in a quick and efficient way. The only difference with regular pizza is the base which is bread slice instead of yeast dough pizza base. But the taste is just amazing as regular pizza.

If you have homemade pizza sauce stored in the refrigerator, some bread slices, and cheese, you can prepare these easy and tasty Indian snacks in 15 minutes. Add veggies of your choice. Only onion and tomato will do, as it is always available in the kitchen. You can even add colored bell peppers, sweet corn, mushroom, paneer, olives, or sautéed spinach as per the availability.

Bread pizza can either be made on a stovetop or oven. In this recipe, I have adopted the oven method. For the stovetop, spread butter on both sides of the bread slice, toast bread slice on one side, flip and layer the toppings as mentioned in this recipe and toast it on a low flame with a lid until cheese melts.

Bread pizza is easy to make for brunch or evening snacks. You can easily double or triple the quantity for small get together or kids parties.

Steps

20 minutes
  1. 1

Get all the veggies and pizza sauce ready. Preheat oven at 220 degC.

  2. 2

Spread butter on both sides of the bread and arrange it on a baking tray. Spreading butter prevents bread slices from getting soggy when we apply sauce and makes the bread crispy on baking. Spread 1/2 tbsp pizza sauce on each slice.
