(Dry ingredients)
Mix the flour, cocoa power, sugar, bicarbonate of soda together in a large bowl - 2
(Wet ingredients)
Mix the melted margarine with the eggs and beat together in a medium bowl. Add the fruit mince, dates, and carrots to the egg/margarine mix. - 3
Mix the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients until well mixed. Pour into a medium sized bowl.

Cover the mixture with tin foil. Pour 1/4 of water in a large pot. Place the bowl with the covered mixture into a bowl and until ready. Test every 30 minutes with fork to see if ready

When ready, cut into pieces and leave overnight. Best served with custard
