I've always wanted to try making this, so I finally attempted it.

Make sure to thoroughly evaporate the moisture from the tofu.

Ingredients

1 serving
  1. 150 gramsTofu
  2. 1/2Carrot
  3. 1/2Green pepper
  4. 1 gramsHijiki seaweed (dried)
  5. 1Egg
  6. Seasoning ingredients
  7. 1 tbspSoy sauce
  8. 1 tbspSake
  9. 1/2 tbspMirin
  10. 1 tspSugar

Cooking Instructions

    Reconstitute the hijiki with water. Mince the vegetables. Heat the vegetables in the microwave.

    Without using oil, crumble the tofu into a frying pan and cook until the moisture evaporates.

    Add the vegetables and hijiki to Step 2. Lightly cook.

  4. 4

    Beat the egg in a bowl. Add Step 3 and the flavoring ingredients and mix together well.

  5. 5

    Heat oil in a frying pan and pour in Step 4. Once it begins to harden, neaten the shape.

    Once the bottom has cooked, flip it over and cook the other side to finish.
