My Kids Rave About This Chinjao Rosu (Stir Fried Beef and Peppers with Oyster Sauce)

This is a little bit more strongly flavoured than a regular beef and green pepper stir-fry.
This easy dish has packed full of flavor. The Wei-pa stock seasons the dish perfectly, but if you don't have it, use 1 teaspoon of chicken stock instead. Recipe by Norikorin

Steps
- 1
Finely cut the beef and sprinkle with a little bit of sake (not listed) and salt. Let rest and then coat with katakuriko.
- 2
Julienne the bamboo shoots and green peppers.
- 3
Heat sesame oil in a pan. Add the meat, and fry until it changes colour. Remove the meat from the pan.
- 4
In the same pan, add a little more oil, and cook the vegetables from step 2. When they have cooked through, add the meat back into the pan and cook the meat and vegetables together.
- 5
Add the ● ingredients to the pan. Heat until the sauce is hot and all the ingredients are thoroughly cooked.
