Butter chicken or murgh makhani is a curry of chicken in a spiced tomato, butter and cream sauce. It originated in the Indian subcontinent as a curry.

Marinate chicken in chilli powder, Coriander, cumin, Turmeric, salt, lemon juice for half an hour.

Put chopped onions in oil, saute then set aside. Put tomatoes in oil saute and set aside.

Blend onions and tomatoes in blender.
In same oil add marinated chicken, saute then add blended tomatoes and onion mixture in it. Mix well then add yogurt in it. Put lid on pan and leave it for half an hour.
When oil comes on top add cream and butter, mix well, garnish with kasuri methi. Served on your dish.
