This is a delicious and mouth watering Pulao made in the households of the Konkan. I have personally loved this Pulao made by my Grandmother and my mother since my Childhood and is one of the most easy to make Prawn Recipes.

Clean and wash the fresh prawns. Retain the shell and keep aside.

Heat the Oil in a Kadhai. Add the whole garam masala, curry leaves and slit green chillies. Add the chopped onions and fry until light brown in colour. Add the finely chopped tomatoes and ginger garlic paste. Fry until the smell of the ginger and garlic goes away.

Add all the powdered spices and cook for half a minute. Add the curd to this mixture and mix well. Add the prawns, Salt and cook well for 5 mins. Add the Fresh Peas and the lightly fried Potato Halves and cook well for another 2-3 minutes.

Once the oil starts leaving the sides, Add hot water and let it come to a boil.

Add the washed and soaked rice to the boiling water. Adjust the salt as per taste and cook until the rice is completely done.

Garnish with Finely chopped fresh Coriander and deep fried onions. Serve with a wedge of lime.
