Serves 4 servings

21 oz (600 grams)peeled potatoes
8 oz (210 grams)peeled squash
1/3 cupmilk (about 80 ml)

Boil the potatoes and squash in water until tender. Drain after cooking. Add the milk and heat through. In a skillet, melt the butter, then sauté the garlic with the parsley and green onions. Add this mixture to the cooked potatoes and squash, season with salt and pepper, and mash everything together.

Serve with braised beef rump roast.
