Ingredients

30 minutes
3 people
  1. 2 cupsleftover rice (refrigerated)
  2. 2garlic (sliced)
  3. 3Shallots (sliced)
  4. 2Birdseye chili (sliced)
  5. 1 stalkspring onion (Chopped)
  6. 2 tbspgochujang paste
  7. 1 tbspsesame oil
  8. 1 tbspcooking oil / butter
  9. 1 tspfish sauce
  10. Salt
  11. Pepper
  12. Sugar
  13. Egg (fried)
  14. About 50ml of water (Optional)

Cooking Instructions

30 minutes

    In a Pre-heated pan, add cooking oil and sesame oil, chili, garlic and Shallots. Cook till fragrant

  2. 2

    Once everything is fragrant, add gochujang paste, a little bit of water, salt, pepper and sugar. Cook it until it saucy and then add the rice, mix it until its all combined.

    Do a taste test, adjust the taste and then add some spring onion and some more sesame oil if you like.

    Once it's done, serve it with sunny side up egg!
