Ingredients

4 servings
  • Topping:
  • 1/8Napa cabbage
  • 1/3Carrot
  • 1Green pepper
  • 8Quail eggs
  • 1/2Onion
  • 1/2 bagBean sprouts
  • 2to 4 grams Wood ear mushrooms
  • 200 gramsThinly sliced pork rib meat
  • Soup:
  • 1and 1/2 liters Water
  • 2to 3 tablespoons Chinese soup stock
  • 4 tbspSoy sauce
  • 4to 6 tablespoons Oyster sauce
  • 1 dashPepper
  • Other:
  • 1Katakuriko slurry
  • 4servings Ramen noodles

Steps

  1. 1

    Chop the topping ingredients into bite-sized pieces. Soak the wood ear mushrooms in hot water to reconstitute.

  2. 2

    Put the pork in a frying pan and sauté until cooked through.

  3. 3

    Add the rest of the topping ingredients and lightly sauté until evenly coated in oil.

  4. 4

    Put the soup ingredients in a pot. Adjust the seasoning with soy sauce and oyster sauce to taste. You can also use salt.

  5. 5

    When the vegetables are cooked, add the dissolved katakuriko to thicken to your desired consistency. I like mine very thick.

  6. 6

    Boil the noodles, transfer to a bowl, add the soup, then serve.
