Peel and boil beetroot in little water

If you don't mind little sweetness in your puri grate the boiled beetroot and add to 250 gms atta. For those who don't like it sweet add only the beetroot water,1tsp salt and make a dough.(Can add plain water also if needed).Divide into small portions.Roll each portion into rounds and deep fry the puris.

In a kadai take a tbsp oil. Add mustard seeds 1 tsp, chana dal1tsp, urd dal 1tsp, peanuts handful, Curry leaves,green chilies.Fry till dals are light brown. Then add chopped onions fry till transparent then add boiled and mashed potatoes, haldi, salt, water and boil. Garnish with coriander leaves.
