Finely chop the onion. loosely chop the bacon. lightly beat the eggs.

Melt the butter on a medium heat, fry the onion until softened, add the bacon and fry until edges start to crisp.

Pour in the eggs, keep stirring until the eggs are cooked to your preference, on a wet to dry scale.

Add chopped chives to serve with bread of choice
