Veggies Majboos: UAE 🇦🇪 Special- Veg. Arabic Rice
This is the simplest & quickest of all the recipes from the land being its vegetarian version
Cooking Instructions
- 1
First Up: Cut up all the veggies required & aforesaid- Set Aside-
Wash, soak the rice (I’ve used the Basmati Rice), for at least 30 mins time and then, strain it to either prepare it separately or to cook it along with the veggies as is usually done by many-
However, ideally it’s cooked separately in the land and mixed in together and garnished accordingly to be served piping hot - 2
Now, once all the arrangements & Preppings are done with, let’s start with the Cooking Process-
Heat up a frying pan over the medium flame: Add in the required amount of cooking oil in it (whichever you’re using)-
In goes the tempering spices- sauté until they turn aromatic & starts spluttering-
Add in the chopped onions and 2G Paste to it, sauté until nicely golden browned and shrunk in the quantity & also the raw smell isn’t there anymore - 3
Now, add in the chopped rest other veggies one by one- Sauté & Cook until they’re all turn quite soft and translucent a bit-
Add in the seasonings at this point which will eventually help these veggies to cook faster & become tender & soft-
Throw in the tomatoes and continue sautéing until it’s nicely turn mushy & juicy (I’ve used herein, whichever fresh or even leftover cut veggies were therein my fridge in order to finish it all up this way) - 4
Once the veggies are all cooked nicely and has become imminently softer yet not mushy-
Throw in the raw washed and soaked rice to be cooked together along with the veggies mixture now or as is ideally done in the land-
Cook the rice separately and then, add into this veggies mixture at this point and then, our job is done
I’ve cooked it together though and not separa tely- That’s how it’s convenient to me- - 5
I’d mixed in the washed and soaked rice grains with the veggies & sautéed altogether for sometime & then added double (1:2) ie. 1 part Rice:2 parts water, it’s the hot water used in it, in order to cook faster without any temp differences in that, as the shock effect (that’s the reason- in cooking Curries, gravies, Fried Rice, Pulao, etc. both in the veg & non-veg versions warm/hot water is used to hasten the cooking process & cook evenly)
- 6
Cover the/pot/vessel until it’s all cooked well- Turn off the flame and let it sit on the hot oven for another 10-15 mins time before serving it piping hot with the favourite condiments or sauces/dips, etc.
Green Salads from the land can also be served along with it-
For eg. Tabbouleh or any other Mediterranean salad dishes or Dips like that of the Moutabbal/Baba-Ghanoush/Muhammara, etc. or even spicy 🌶 sauces like the: Dakkous or Salata Hara or similar - 7
Garnish it your own way & serve it hot with your choicest condiments and curries or similar & relish this DELISH from the land- Prepared, in the most easiest, quickest & simplest way to be just grabbed readily
ENJOY YOUR MEAL

ARROZ CHAUFA De POLLO -- Peruvian Chicken Fried Rice ARROZ CHAUFA De POLLO -- Peruvian Chicken Fried Rice
This is the first time I presented a recipe from other countries to the International site... but for the site in my country, I've published the International recipes that I cook a few times. The following is Fried Rice with Chicken from the country of Peru “ARROZ CHAUFA De POLLO” that I made, and I hope you like it… ^_^In this recipe I use fried peas, because fresh peas are currently not in stock. But fried peas, created a unique sensation --- savory and crunchy when chewed especially mixed with fried rice and other ingredients. You should try it… Dapoer-Indonesia @ us -

Paneer Steak With Burnt Garlic Herbed Rice Paneer Steak With Burnt Garlic Herbed Rice
#reststylePaneer Steak With Burnt Garlic Herbed Rice is basically a restaurant style dish. Nowadays, we can see a new revolution in the menus of many new age restaurants. Quite a lot of new dishes can be seen on their menus. One such dish is steak, then be it chicken or cottage cheese. Either grilled veggies are served by the side or at times even some buttered herbed rice is served alongside! The dish I have presented here is on the same lines, where I have added a delicious sauce made with roasted red bell peppers and cashewnuts. The sauce is extremely flavourful and ups the taste level of the entire dish!I have added here as much veggies as I can, as it increases the health quotient of the dish! And the main thing over here is that, these dishes are sold at such high prices in restaurants, but preparing this dish at home has costed me almost less than half the cost I would be paying for four! All this inspite of the cost of these ingredients being on the higher side! So go ahead and surely give this dish a try at least once, and I assure you that you won’t be dissapointed!A small tip, the marinade prepared here is so delicious in itself, that it can be used to make grill sandwiches and can be used with fish or chicken too to make non vegetarian steaks! Hainanese Rice with rice cooker Hainanese Rice with rice cooker
This is one of the very popular Chinese food in Indonesia. Usually we eat it with Hainanese Chicken but you can always have it with roasted chicken or duck with the sauce like on this https://cookpad.wasmer.app/us/recipes/5004571-sauce-for-asian-chicken-sandwich?via=sidebar-recipesI was given the Hainanese Chicken, so I only needed to cook the rice and bokchoy stir fry (recipe for bokchoy https://cookpad.wasmer.app/us/recipes/5100710-baby-bok-choy-stir-fry-with-oyster-sauce?via=sidebar-recipes) Pawon Indo Bule -
