Tuna & Avocado Yukke

The Japanese-style tuna + avocado poke I always make felt like it was lacking in substance, so I tried it in a Korean style. I borrowed the yukke sauce from other users' recipes.
It looks like adding cucumbers in the summer is pretty popular! Thanks to everyone who gave feedback. Recipe by *usako*

Yukhoe-syle Rice bowl with Tuna, Avocado and Nagaimo Yukhoe-syle Rice bowl with Tuna, Avocado and Nagaimo
We always have tuna and avocado with refreshing lemon and soy sauce sauce. I wanted to try the hot and rich yukhoe sauce for it one day. I didn't have enough tuna so I added yam to give volume. The light crunchiness of the yam gave a nice texture to the dish and it was a success. It's nothing too difficult. One point to note is to mix gently at Step 6, otherwise it will discolour.Soak the tuna in the sauce to bring out the flavor. Recipe by Nagisaarare cookpad.japan -

I rearranged a menu on the item at my favorite Japanese pub by adding some vinegar. On a TV program about the Tsukiji market, they mentioned that the classic tuna and green onion donburi is tastier with sesame oil than withe wasabi soy sauce so I tried it out. Avocado, which I love, goes well with sesame oil too, so I added it in. My husband loved it, saying it's better than the version with wasabi soy sauce. The riper the avocado, the better. It won't look so appetizing, but it tastes nicer if you mix it up thoroughly before eating. This sandwich was so good. The pesto combined with the tuna balanced well. The avocado and English peas added to the flavour profile. I think I used the right amount of each ingredient as not to overwhelm anyone thing making it a one note flavour.I had plenty leftover for more sandwiches at least 6 sandwiches in total. Just add bread. skunkmonkey101 -
