Roast Beef for a Birthday Dinner

Since you can eat as much as you want and it's still tasty cold, I often make this for birthdays or other large gatherings. Once the prepping is finished, I let the oven take care of the rest so that I can prepare a salad while it cooks. I learned this recipe from my mom.

Season the pork well with salt and pepper. The meat should be at room temperature. For best results, thoroughly rub in the garlic. Finally, be careful not to overcook it!
When you want to check if it's cooked through, stab it with a metal skewer and if it comes out warm, it's done! Recipe by Mawaru7

Steps

  1. 1

Remove the meat from the fridge and bring to room temperature (about 30 minutes to an hour before seasoning). Cut the garlic in half and thoroughly rub it into the meat.

  2. 2

Preheat the oven to 360F/180C. Rub salt and pepper into the meat. Slice the celery, carrot, and garlic.

  3. 3

Line a baking tray with a sheet of tin foil. Arrange the vegetables around the meat after placing it on the foil. Roast for about 40 minutes and it's done.

  4. 4

※ Grate the horseradish, mix in a bit of soy sauce, and enjoy. If you want a more Japanese flavor, use wasabi and soy sauce.

  5. 5

If you're not going to serve it right away or prefer your meat well done, wrap the pork completely in foil and adjust the heat to your liking.
