Homemade spinach artichoke dip

I make this for when we have company over or a holiday appetizer. It’s so amazing! Served with chips.

Ingredients

27-30 minutes
Appetizer
  1. 2 cupsshredded mozzarella cheese
  2. 14 ozcan artichoke hearts (chopped and drained)
  3. 2 tspminced garlic
  4. 2/3 cupsour cream
  5. 10 ozbox frozen spinach (thawed, drained, chopped)
  6. 3/4 cupParmesan cheese
  7. Red pepper flakes (dash, however much you prefer)
  8. 8 ozcream cheese (softened)
  9. 1/3 cupmayonnaise

Cooking Instructions

27-30 minutes

    Mix spinach, Parmesan cheese and artichokes together.

    In a separate bowl, mix all other ingredients together. Leave out a very small amount of the mozzarella cheese to cook the last couple minutes on top.

    Then Combine both mixtures and mix those together.

    Preheat oven to 375 degrees and dump mixture in a 8 x 8 glass cooking dish.

    Cook uncovered for 20 minutes. Then take dish out of oven & put the small amount of mozzarella cheese on top (spread evenly).

    Cook for another 5-7 minutes, until the cheese on top is melted. Take out and serve hot with tortilla chips.
