Herbal Tea Pound Cake Herbal Tea Pound Cake
I had some sweet flavoured tea, so I added to a pound cake batter. It took on a wonderful fragrance and tasted delicious, so I uploaded the recipe. This time, I used blueberry flavoured tea. Other flavours are nice and fragrant too - try apple, strawberry, peach, or orange.Make sure you bring the egg to room temperature before using. If it's cold, it won't mix well with the butter and will separate. If you leave the pound cake to rest a few days, it will be even tastier. It will be particularly moist if you wrap it in plastic wrap and leave it for 2 - 3 days.If you don't have flavoured tea, use a little more sugar. Recipe by Puru berry cookpad.japan -

Macrobiotic Tea Pound Cake Macrobiotic Tea Pound Cake
I tried various recipes for making a macrobiotic cake, and came up with this idea to add a strong fragrance to the batter to make up for the lack of taste from being butter- or margarine-free.Brew the tea right away, so that it will be well-chilled when it's time to incorporate into the batter. You can use ice to chill it completely. The flour will become sticky if gets heated. The cake is easier to eat with ground tea leaves. Recipe by Usapanda recipe cookpad.japan -

Butter at the End Apple Black Tea Pound Cake Butter at the End Apple Black Tea Pound Cake
I bought a lot of apples since they were in season. They were ripe and I wanted to use them. I had butter, so I made pound cakes. The batter rises easily and evenly when you shift the dry ingredients three times. You could do it twice but... Keep the cut apples in a colander so that it won't be watery. Recipe by Tamakinopapa cookpad.japan -

Black Tea Butter Cake with Lemon Icing Black Tea Butter Cake with Lemon Icing
I was selected as a tester for Aspartame sweetener, so I tried using it to make some sweets that I usually avoided due to the calories.I recommend using Earl Grey tea. Adjust the amount of water according to how rich you would like the lemon icing. If you let it sit overnight, it will become even more moist. You can also bake it in an 18-cm pound cake pan.
