Pepper Buns (Easy Scallion Pancake Method)

Mix the ground pork with black pepper, rice wine, soy sauce, soy paste, five-spice powder, and a little water until well combined.

Right before wrapping, add chopped scallions to the meat mixture and mix lightly.

Thaw the scallion pancake wrappers, cut each in half, and roll them out slightly. Place a portion of the meat filling in each and wrap.

Brush the surface with sugar water, sprinkle with sesame seeds, and place on a baking sheet.

Bake in a 400°F oven (200°C) for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
